I did this solo adventure originally for Fight On Magazine #13, which came out in December. It has had a couple of months now to make sales, and I want to release the adventure to a wider audience. This new version incorporates material that the original did not have—an essay about Tunnels and Trolls combat, a section at the end telling how to run it as a GM adventure, and some new art by David Ullery.
Adventures like Battle School, Tavern by the Sea, and DewDrop Inn help explain what the bold adventurers are doing between adventures. It may be a trend as I have noticed several other solos recently, like Michael Eidson’s Down Time in TrollsZine 4, that also ask the question: what is the adventurer doing between expeditions?
