This just in–Trollhalla member Grrraall, mundanely known as Patrice Greille, has just released an updated, expanded set of Tunnels and Trolls rules in French. Pat is a professional translator, and has been working on this project for more than a year. He has poured his own time and money into it without reservation. He has checked with me constantly to insure that what he says is what I meant–not always the case because some things get lost in translation. He has commissioned new art for the project from Liz Danforth (Lix Oakkheart in Trollhalla), and has paid for professional editing by Steve Crompton (Kroommmp in Trollhalla). I have seen part of the pre-publication manuscript, and it looks great. It is kind of odd, but I now believe that the best available edition of T & T in the world is this French one. If you can read French, it’s a must-have. If you don’t, it’s just a very nice addition to your collection. Who knows? Perhaps it will inspire you to learn French, mais non?
As an additional incentive, if you buy one, and send a copy of your receipt to me (firstname.lastname@example.org) during the month of March, I will award you triple tvp for the purchase. Likewise for any other T & T products you buy through lulu.com at the same time. When March is over the triple tvp offer fades to just double tvp for the purchase.
This is an exciting time for Tunnels and Trolls. Great things are happening for the old game as it reinvents itself and steps up on the world gaming stage again. It’s a great time to be a T & T player.
